Robert A. (Bob) Paydo was born in El Paso, Texas, the son of a career Air Force officer. In 1970, his family moved from Europe to Colorado Springs in order to establish their permanent residence. He graduated from William Mitchell High School in 1975 and soon thereafter joined the United States Navy as Hospital Corpsman.
After the passing of his father, Bob returned to his home in Colorado Springs in order to be available to assist his mother care for his sister with down syndrome. His academic achievements consist of degrees in Safety and Risk Management, Business Management and and MBA in International Business from Regis University.
Bob is a member of the Board of Directors for The Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Association, Corporate Member of The ARC for the Pikes Peak Region, Member of the El Paso County Medical Society Committee on Disabilities and an Advisory Committee Member with Mosaic (formerly Martin Luther Homes). Recently Bob was the recognized for his service with the Don Haney Award from The ARC of the Pikes Peak Region.
